Different Types of Drives
Have you always asked yourself, what is the difference between front-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive? Here at West Herr Jeep Orchard Park, we can explain to you the difference and show you as well.
Front-wheel drive sets up the power in the front of the car. This gives these wheels the responsibility to steer and move the vehicle. These wheels are typically cheap and save more space than the others. Rear-wheel drive is when the power is transferred to the back of the car. The rear-wheel-drive allows you to have superior handling, acceleration, and great braking. Typically, the rear-wheel-drive would be the better option because its pros outweigh the cons.
As you can see, the front-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive are completely different. The rear-wheel-drive is more popular than the front-wheel-drive because it is safer and more efficient.
